I graduated with a MBA in International Marketing from ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ, achieving a Distinction and receiving the Best Dissertation in Marketing award. This recognition strongly motivated me to continue developing my research and I am currently preparing my dissertation for publication.

My learning experience at Bangor was truly transformative. The teaching methods, supportive academic staff, and access to recorded lectures helped me overcome initial challenges, particularly with academic English. The ability to revisit lectures with subtitles, combined with the openness of lecturers to provide guidance, made a significant difference in my confidence and academic performance.

Beyond the learning environment, the university as a whole was exceptionally welcoming and inclusive. As an international student, I deeply appreciated the cultural awareness and support provided, from wellbeing services to thoughtfully maintained facilities such as prayer spaces. These details made me feel valued and comfortable, far from the feeling of being abroad.

One of the most valuable aspects of my academic journey was my engagement with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Initially introduced through a lecture, this experience encouraged me to actively participate, attend sessions regularly, and later become involved in mentoring activities. It has significantly strengthened my leadership and professional development. The ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ Careers and Employability Service also played an important role in my journey. Through this platform, I explored job opportunities and gained valuable career guidance, which continues to support my professional development.

I now work as a Marketing Trainer at the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) in Saudi Arabia. The teaching approaches I experienced at Bangor have directly influenced my own methods, enabling me to introduce more innovative and engaging training techniques, as well as contribute to research and academic development in my field. Because of this, I have received a promotion at work, and new career opportunities have opened to me. Shortly after updating my LinkedIn profile, I was invited to attend the International Labour Market Conference, attended by ministers and global leaders, an opportunity I am incredibly proud of.

Looking back, I arrived at Bangor with concerns about failure, especially regarding language barriers. However, through the support of the university, including the English language programmes and ongoing academic support, I was able to succeed beyond my expectations and I am very grateful to everyone at ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ for giving me the foundations to grow professionally.
