Pecuniary
I give to ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ, College Road, Bangor, Gwynedd, LL57 2DG the sum of £….. (free of tax)* for its general purposes (OR for the purposes of…… ) and I direct that the receipt of the University Registrar or other authorised officer for the time being of the University shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustees.

Specific
I give to ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ, College Road, Bangor, Gwynedd, LL57 2DG ….. (insert a clear description of item/s to be bequeathed) or the proceeds of sale, if sold by the time of my death, with full power to realise such assets and to apply the proceeds to the general purposes of the University (OR for the purposes of….. ) and I direct that the receipt of the University Vice Chancellor or other authorised officer for the time being of the University shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustees.
Residuary
I give devise and bequeath to ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ, College Road, Bangor, Gwynedd, LL57 2DG (insert ‘all’ or whatever fractional share of your estate you wish to bequeath) of the residue of my estate absolutely to be used for the general purposes of the University (OR for the purposes of …. ) with full power to expend capital as well as income and I direct that the receipt of the University Registrar or other authorised officer for the time being of the University shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustees.
Reversionary
The tax treatment of reversionary bequests is complicated. So, you should discuss your plans with finance and legal professionals, who can advise you on the necessary wording for your will.
