International Year 1 - Business, Management and Finance

National Senior Certificate 66655
OR Senior Certificate (with matriculation) BBBCC, with C in relevant subject areas is required to be considered for entry onto the International Year 1*.

*The International Year 1 is the first year of our 3 year Bachelor Degrees in Business, Management & Finance provides an intensive combination of first year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills, and is taught on campus at ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
 

Undergraduate Entry

National School Certificate (NSC),  66665, with 6 in relevant subject areas.

Senior certificate (with matriculation) BBBCC, with B in relevant subject areas.

A Levels or International Baccalaureate - see course pages for specific entry requirements.

Mature students will be considered on a case by case basis.

Entry into Year 2 will be considered for students with a HND or at least one year of study at a University overseas or in the UK.

If you do not meet our requirements then we will consider you for entry to International Year Zero.

Postgraduate Entry

Bachelor degree, second class (Division Two)/60-69%.

Mature students will be considered on a case by case basis.

If you do not meet the requirements for entry onto a Masters Degree in Bangor Business School then we can consider you for entry onto *International Incorporated Masters

*The pre-masters part of our International Incorporated Masters is taught on campus at ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
 

PhD

Requires good grades in a Masters degree as well as a Bachelor degree.

Previous research experience is essential.

English Language Requirements

Entry onto undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is dependant on academic qualifications and a Grade 5 in NSC English or C in Senior Certificate English.

IELTS 6.0 (5.5) or equivalent. Some courses have higher English Language Requirements.

For students educated in English or from an English speaking country we may be able to waive the requirement, if you can provide evidence that you achieved a minimum of a C or equivalent in your high school English (higher for some courses) or a letter from your University confirming your bachelor degree was taught in English.

• International Year Zero: High school certificate or equivalent from your home country + IELTS 5.5 (5.5)
• International Year 1: School leaving qualification equivalent to the British school leaving qualification (A-levels / IB) + IELTS 5.5 (5.5)
• Undergraduate Courses: School leaving qualification equivalent to the British school leaving qualification (A-levels / IB) or the University may also recognise relevant professional experience of 2 years or longer for entry onto our degree programmes + IELTS 6.0 (5.5)
• Postgraduate Courses: Undergraduate / bachelor degree of equivalent standard to the British undergraduate/bachelor degree or the University may also recognise relevant professional experience of 2 years or longer for entry onto our degree programmes + IELTS 6.0 (5.5)
• PhD/Research Course: Postgraduate / Master’s Degree of equivalent standard to the British Postgraduate / Master’s Degree + IELTS 6.0 (5.5)

Applicants from some countries do NOT need to provide additional evidence of English Language ability, if previous education was with English medium of instruction. Otherwise, an IELTS overall 6.0 with 5.5 in each component or equivalent is normally required (some courses may require a higher score.
