拢1.4m investment secured to futureproof Brambell Building
As part of a major rollout of energy efficiency projects funded through the Welsh Government鈥檚 Digarbon programme, the University has secured nearly 拢1.4 million to upgrade the Brambell Building.
The investment will fund a full roof replacement, upgraded mechanical and electrical systems and the installation of a modern building management system designed to reduce energy use and carbon emissions.
This work forms part of a wider wave of investment that will see heat decarbonisation, energy efficiency measures and renewable infrastructure rolled out across colleges and universities in Wales.

Completed in 1971, the Grade II-listed Brambell Building is a notable example of brutalist architecture, designed by Welsh practice Sir Percy Thomas and Son. The building is named after Francis W. R.
