Miss Rebecca Gillmore
Overview
I am a postgradutate researcher at 成人VR视频 with a particular interest in seabird ecology, tidal environments, and seabird monitoring technologies. My current research focuses on the winter distribution and habitat use of Great Cormorants (Phalacrocorax carbo) across North Wales. Which听explores how environmental conditions, including weather, tidal cycles, and habitat characteristics, influence patterns of roost occupancy and habitat use across coastal, estuarine, and freshwater environments. Using a combination of field observations and remote camera monitoring, I examine how seabirds respond to dynamic environmental conditions through space and time. Through this work, I aim to improve understanding of seabird ecology in tidal environments while contributing to the development of innovative approaches for long-term wildlife monitoring.
A key aspect of my research is the development and evaluation of innovative, non-invasive monitoring techniques that can provide high-resolution information on wildlife distribution through time. This work has relevance not only for cormorant conservation and management but also for wider ecological research where understanding the responses of animals to environmental change is important.

Research Interests
My broader research interests include seabird ecology and behaviour, movement ecology, tidal and coastal environments, and the development of innovative approaches for wildlife monitoring. I am particularly interested in how seabirds use dynamic tidal systems, and how environmental conditions influence their distribution, habitat use, roost occupancy, and colony attendance across space and time.听
