Who are London Bangorians?
London Bangorians began in 1901 as the London branch of the Old Students Association (OSA) for alumni of ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ, formerly University College of North Wales, and associated higher education colleges.
What do London Bangorians do?
We offer a social network for alumni in London and the South East to maintain links with fellow Bangor Uni graduates. We meet several times a year to visit London landmarks, celebrate Welsh heritage and culture in London, maintain links with ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ and network with other Welsh university alumni groups.
Memorable events have included visits to Kew Gardens, Greenwich Old Royal Naval College, the Globe Theatre and Handel-Hendrix House, and a guided ghost walk in the City of London. Once a year, in April, we hold an AGM for members with a talk by a member or outside speaker, and we hold informal pub nights throughout the year.
Sounds great! How do I join?
Simple – send us an email and we’ll send full joining info: londonbangorians@gmail.com
