We offer personal training sessions, which can be booked as individual or blocks of sessions.

Important Information, Terms and Conditions
- All sessions are to be paid in full at the start of the first session – these are 1 session, 3 session packages or 5 session packages.
- Sessions are to be used within 6 months of the purchase date (i.e., the first session) or they become void.
- All sessions bought in packages are to be completed by the same person, they cannot be transferred over to someone else.
- Only one person can attend each session – group Personal Training sessions aren’t available.
- Session times are to be arranged directly between the Fitness Instructor and customer – not through reception.
- Members and Non-Members can book Personal Training sessions at Canolfan Brailsford.
- Individuals must be 16 or over to book and participate in Personal Training sessions at Canolfan Brailsford.
- Cancellations: 24-hour cancellation notice. Customers are required to give at least 24-hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule a session.
- Late cancellations & No-Shows: Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows to sessions will incur a full session charge or loss of sessions if a package has been bought.
- Exceptions to Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Exceptional cases may allow for flexibility to the cancellation policy. Examples may include sudden illness, family emergencies etc. Please communicate these circumstances as soon as is reasonably possible so we can accommodate your needs. Enforcing the policy is adhered to is at the discretion of the instructor and/or their line manager.
- Repeated Cancellations: Regular late cancellations and no-shows will result in a review of the training schedule and where necessary, a termination in Personal Training services.
- How to Cancel: To cancel a personal training session, you must directly contact the instructor. This is to be done in writing via email. If you are unable to get in touch with the instructor, please contact reception on 01248 382571. A written cancellation to the instructor is still required.
Refunds and Cancellations
- Pre-Paid Packages (3 or 5 session blocks): Refunds will not be given for packages that have passed the 6-month validation date. Exceptional circumstances may apply.
- A refund will not be given if the cancellation is within 24 hours of the session time and will result in a loss of that session (when in package offers). Customers who pay for 1 session at a time, will need to pay the cost of the missed session before they can resume their Personal Training.
- Terminating Personal Training: If for any reason the customer does not wish to continue with Personal Training sessions purchased, only the remaining sessions of the package will be refunded. This must fall outside of the 24-hour cancellation policy.
Collected Information
Some sensitive and personal information may be collected to provide the best service. This includes personal information such as name, date of birth, contact details. Health information such as medical history, current injuries medications, and fitness information such as weight, body fat percentage, work out details. The information we collect is used to create your personalised fitness plans, to track your progress and make the necessary adjustments to your training programme to keep it tailored to your needs. We use the information to ensure Health & Safety to all our customers during their sessions and to ensure we have complied with legal or regulatory requirements.
Storing Information
Retention of personal and sensitive information is for as long as required by law. We no longer hold the data once the customer is no longer working with us. Any paper documentation is stored within a locked cabinet. Please contact Canolfan Brailsford for your information to be deleted or destroyed.
Sharing Information
We do not sell, share or rent your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared in following circumstances:
- Where the customer has given explicit consent for the information to be shared.
- If required by law, regulation or legal process (e.g. court order).
- With trusted third-party service providers who assist with delivering our services, under strict confidentiality agreements (e.g. payment processors or software providers).
